Recipes by Heidi Cannon
Decadent cupcakes, brownies, and cookies do have a place in a healthy diet. The secret: sneak tweaks that bring your baked goods out of guilt-inducing territory and into a whole new “light”.
We’ve enlisted the help of Heidi Cannon, a WBFF pro and Magnum Nutraceuticals athlete. She shares her love for baking with protein, specializing in Magnum’s Quattro 4-Stage Isolate Protein. “It’s possible to slash major calories and fat from almost any baked good without sacrificing flavour or texture,” says Heidi, creator of Mrs. Cannon’s Baking app. All it takes to make decadent treats that do minimal damage is one or two modifications. A little tweaking and some substitutions are all you need to make delicious collide with nutritious.
Try these two recipes and we think you’ll find that they will satisfy your sweet tooth AND your nutrition plan.
